I have this roll of corrugated vinyl tubing that I wanted to use for the return lines on a new 180 gal reef tank. It's suppose to be for water gardening but I noticed it kinda smells like a new shower curtain, not quite as strong but definitely the same. Would that have something to do with the UV stabilizing? Anyway I was wondering if anyone uses this or if anyone knows if it's reef safe or not.

Here's a link to the product spec page:

My first guess would be don't use it. If it is not "potable" meaning it is food grade and does not leach anything into the water, over time it will cause problems with the tank
