UV sterilizer are they worth having...

    from my understanding...now that I've listened to alot of you fellow reefkeepers...I will plumb the uv into my set up although I will not turn it on unless I need help when I get new fish from lfs's or other sources...
    If I do have a burst of diffrent types of bad algae i will also turn the uv on....
    I'll be plumbing it with a 4 way adaptor streaming from the middle baffle where the skimming is taking place,Then it will travel to the last baffle where my return is...
    the pump will also distribute water into my other 2 reactors that I'll be plumbing in..
    1 containing a load of swc biopellets and the other with black diamong activated carbon...
    all three will have there own valves,I'll be posting a few shots once I get all this going...
