Well my AquaMedic is supposed to be around 100 liters an hour for my tank, so I am doing it by how fast it fills a 2 liter coke bottle. Less than 2 liters a minute works out pretty good.

    Plumbing question

Okay so, I want to setup my uv sterilizer like this, but my only concern is that the flow rate of my return pump (1400gph) might be too much for the uv sterilizer/chiller.

Now if I was put a Y fitting after the return pump, before the sterilizer (1 going to the uv sterilizer/chiller and 1 going directly to the DT) would that work? And should I put a valve on it to control the flow?

Thanks in advance for your input as I am new to this whole plumbing department.
