UV Sterilizer???

    Hey guys, I have a 90g tank with a 30g sump, I have been having really bad luck with ich in my tank and the local fish store recommended a UV sterilizer. Do you agree this would help, or how beneficial are they?

    From what i know and heard UV sterilizer kill harmful bacteria and i have heard of them killing ich!

    Can you post some tank details and water parameters as well? Curious why you are having ICH problems in the first place...UV's are great, but you should also rule out the simple issues....temp, salinity, KH, Etc. need to be in check.
