    does anyone have any leads on a uv sterilizer that maybe a locallawn and garder store would carry or a decent priced one online for a 30g tank i would rather get oe from a store so i can look at it first ya know thanks

    you could probably get a laguana pond uv sterilier at a garden or perhaps a lawn care place. it may be over kill depending on the size of ur tank seeing as they are made for ponds

    theres no reason why this wouldnt work. http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc...ngId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053#reviews if you have a sump mount it externaly or if you have a canister mount it inline. cheap enough to try. why are you going to be running one?
