I have a 54 corner bow front with a mega flow 1 sump. I don't have a lot of room in it. I have my heater and protein skimmer and my return pump.

In the past I mounted a uv sterilizer on the wall to the side. After months of no problems, I had a hose to blow off the nub in the middle of the night with even using clamps. Had it been in the sump, it would have been contained and made no mess. The mess in one things but I lost quite a bit of water.

Does anyone know of a solution to where I could keep a uv unit in the sump. After this mess, I want everything contained to the sump.

What type of UV is it?

You really won't be able to put one in your sump. Your best bet is to just put new tubing on your current one and have it above or attached to the side of your sump.

    It was a aqua-medic.

I was thinking at one time I saw a submersible unit that could go in the sump. Maybe not.

Would you mind to give me the approx dimensions. I have looked at that brand can't find specs anywhere. I have looked at company website and every online retailer. Everyone gives a description but no one gives the specs.
