Ok guys and gals, Im going on vacation tomorrow for a few weeks and I am leaving my tank to a very trusted individual who I know is competent enough to handle my tasks..

here is my list of tasks for my tank.. so feel free to add or subtract as you see necessary..

    1. Turn on ATO reservoir for the 30 or so minutes you are here.. Its the bucket in the Laundry room and the black valve behind the washing machine.
(set a timer on the counter for reminder)

    2. Turn off the powerstrip. Its the switch on the powerstrip on the right.. it will turn off what you need to take care of everything..

    3. Check my skimmer cup.. Its under the cabinet, the bubbling tower that has the dark liquid in it.. If the liquid is to the line on the cup, unscrew it at the red base and take it to the sink. When you open the top, please do not smell it.. I like to run hot water in the sink, put it under the water and walk away and let it clean itself, like I showed you.

    4. Feed my fish one small pinch of food. Watch them eat it, if they are not eating like animals please call me.

    5. Check the temperature.. there is one on the tank down below, and one up top on the right side. make sure its between 76-80 degrees.. If different please call me.

    6. Spray about 5 squirts of water onto my little plants growing in the bottom, just enough to make sure the tops get some water drops on them.

    7. Get the Calcium bottle and fill the little plastic scoop up to the top with calcium and dump in the bottom tank.

    8. Get the round container that says Superbuffer DKH on it.. Use the scoop in the bucket and add one even level scoop to the bottom tank.

    9. Get the MgSO4 round container and add half of a scoop of that to the bottom tank.

    10. Grab the Bottle that says Essential elements in it. Put 2-3 drops in the bottom tank..

    11. At this point you can screw the Skimmer cup in the sink back on the skimmer, make sure its tight.

    12. Turn the switch to the power strip back on and make sure the pumps are working and my tank is flowing again.

Dont worry about turning the lights on and off.. they are on a timer of their own.. But if they happen to be off when you come over, you can press the buttons on the timer to turn them on.. just please be sure to set the little triangle on the timer back to AUTO when you leave..

Also, dont forget to turn off the water in the laundry room.. dont worry about checking the level, it cant over flow, I have a drain on it.

Other than that, just look over the corals, and make sure each one looks pretty and alive.. If any of them look brown or have bright white showing on any of them call me, and ill help you out..
