It is better to underfeed than to overfeed, in my opinion.
If you look at many of the frozen foods, they contain mainly water(moisture 80%+), so how much nutrition and actual food do you think your livestock are actually receiving. Good case and point is brine shrimp!!!!!!Mysis shrimp is a much better alternative and better bang for your hard earned buck!
Other fine foods are krill, clam, squid and silversides that, like omard pointed out, placed in the blender can be chopped up for even the smallest of fish species.
The addition of flake and pellet foods offer a beneficial supplement to the frozen and live foods.
The combination of both vegetable and protein/meaty flake and pellet foods, algae and seaweed can aid in providing the vitamins and nutrients that many fish and inverts crave and need for their long term health in a captive environment.
Two-four times a day of small feedings is ideal and should help to ensure that all of your livestock are receiving the nutrients and food they require.
Often times, you can train your fish to eat out of your hands and can also visibly watch your fish eat.

CR is right...don't use that commercial frozen stuff...not sure what you are getting and lots of just water.

Overfeeding/Underfeeding...always a big question for all of us. As long as all the food you are feeding is cleaned up pretty promptly and no algae problems, you are likely ok.

I like to do one feeding of my frozen cocktail in AM then a bit of flake in PM.

Everyone fat and happy (except my banded goby :() and no algae buildup.

Remember those crabs and shrimp need food also!
