I picked up this acan like two weeks ago in the LFS... since I just have to have one. It was super light pink and white at the time (obviously bleached). Over the last two weeks, it's had a huge onset of color. Does anyone have some guesses as to the variety?

Acanthastrea lordhowensis perhaps, just a color variation. I like the color with the alternating white and orange/or pink.

:) I knew the species, I don't have a clue as to the "breed" as it were. The color variant.

lol... I was hesitant to buy it in the LFS because it was just light pink and white. I never would've guessed orange, green, hints of purple would pop out of it. I'm really looking forward to finishing off my full spectrum LEDs to see how that changes things.
