Vegasfish 240 gallon build

What you gonna do with the 65 now? When I get the 240 going I'm still gonna have the 55 running and use it to weed out the fish I don't want in the 240. I have found out that some peaceful fish are not peaceful and some fish of the same species are more shy than others and so-forth so when I get fish for the 240 they will have to try-out in the 55. If they are too aggressive or too shy or if I plain just don't like their attitude back to the lfs or the 55 may be their home. Too aggravating to catch the boogers in the 55 once a fish is in the tank and you decide you don't want him there, I can imagine how it would be trying to get one out of the 240...lol

I really don't want two tanks so I am going to take it down and sell it. I am going to buy a 20 gal qt tank.

I have several people who want some of my old corals from the 65 so I will have some new corals from them soon.

 

I just found a guy in town that is going to trade me some cheato and a birdsnest for some shrooms.

On another note when should I start up my skimmer?

It scared me too so i thought I would share! I guess I will start up the skimmer this weekend. I have never had a skimmer like this so I need to play with it to get it dialed in.

 

I just fired up the skimmer to start the break in period. I also test the tank and here are the results
