You do have to think about it for several reasons. One is that it will still take you time to get your new tank up and running. If using the existing tanks items you listed then what is going to keep your current tank up and running while you make the switch. Maybe you have a buddy with extra parts to help when you do plumbing and so forth. I am lucky that I will be able to have both my old and new tank running during the change over. Then I will sell my 65 gal. As far as the price on the lights check what they are selling for a on craigslist and ebay to get a ball park figure. you will never get what they are truly worth but maybe 1/3 to 3/4 of the original sells price.

I don't know how big your condo is when I lived in a condo it was only 900' (the joy of being young and single). I would not have had room for it. Just take your time and plan ahead so you don't get jammed up with a dry tank for years.

About to build sump / Fuge

I was luck and found this 35 gal acrylic tank on craigslist for $20.00. Needs a little work but i am going to use it as my refugium. I have another 40 gallon tank that I am going to use as my sump. I am excited that I found this it saved my a lot of money that I can now put towards buying my pumps. I just might make my July dead line after all!!!!!8)

Thanks to Bogie and Tangster for telling me how I could get this to work.

Thanks. I finished painting the doors for the stand today. I hope to have them mounted in the next few days after they dry real good. Then i will do the build for the sump / fuge.

I was lucky and got 7 hours of OT today at work so that will buy me one of the two pumps I need.:)

Very nice job, that size tank is going to give you a heck of a lot of options, any plans for aquascaping yet?

I really like the options of the multiple islands with canyons between them. I also like the auquascape that Otty is working on with the sand bed being more open. I think I will do a combo of both so I can have both of the options and still give the fish some good hiding spots.
