    I think I have a vermetid worm in my tank and so was wondering if they are harmful and should be removed or if they can be left in the tank? Any answers would be greatly appreciated. :)

    Vermitids are usually not harmful unless their feeding threads get tangled up in a coral.

    Keep husbandry up. I had some in my old tank and neglected the tank, over fed etc. And i had like thousands of them and there damn (webs) would cover entire rocks and corals.
