Man that sucks, but I guess that's better than it not fitting under the tank. I'm making a new sump and fuge for my 150g to fit my BK-180 skimmer, so I can empathize with ya.

I had another set back today. I went to the LFS and they didn't have the 30 gallon breeder in stock so now I have to wait until next Wednesday before I can start work on the new sump.

Dasco, I've got a question. How much clearance does your IN100 require to remove the collection cup? I ask because I'm considering the IN180, and it's 24" high. I have about 24.5" to the bottom glass of my DT. If it requires more than 1/2" to remove the cup, then it's a no go.

    Thanks!

Is vertex a good brand? I've never heard of it until I was browsing calcium reactors today.. The calcium reactor has some nice features and a good price.. good reviews too.

It is a company under the Royal Exclusive brand. The maker of Bubble King. Vertex offers the econo IN line as well as the Alpha cone line. They know what they are doing.
