    we'll fellow 3reefers I'm 5 months shy from placing my order with J&L aquatics to getting my next skimmer....
    As stated in the title of the post it will e the Vertex in 100 rated for over 120 gallon reefs...
    I can't wait does anyone own this type of skimmer and I was wondering how it wouyld compare vs. my SWC 160 cone???;)

    i have one and i love it! works awesome. very easy to tune and always pulls stuff out of the water. virtually no sound. def a good skimmer IMO.

    This is 1 day worth if im skimming wet.

    also i beleive its only rated for 60-100 gallons

    It should be the right skimmer for me...my reef is a 83 gallon with 20 gallon sump
