Vertex or Octo

O.K. I have an old 3 stage berlin skimmer that I am thinking of changing out with my 125g build so I have been reading through a lot of posts and it seems Vertex and Octo brands seem to be a hit among most.

I was hoping I could get your opinions on which has the most bang for the buck around the 300 dollar range. I just in no way can go any higher than that before the wife starts killing me..

Or if you have another brand you recommend I am all ears any input is highly appreciated.

 

Recently I was trying to decided between those two as well, and ended up going with the Octopus Extreme. My decision was based mainly on the fact that I couldn't find the Vertex in stock anywhere and I found a good deal on the Octopus. They are both supposed to be great!

From what I seen and read. The Vertex is built with higher grade materials and backed by a great support team. I Have not heard anything negative about Octopus just a lot of Positive things about Vertex

Same here as well, no negative towards octo but a lot of possitive about Vertex. I am liking the look of the Vertex so been leaning in that direction, I keep hearing they are great bang for the buck and I wouldnt be disappointed.

 

I hope you can find one in stock!! And if you do, I'm jealous.
