The other is definetly and LPS, you can see the feeding tentacles on it around the mouths. I would guess its a Favites or something real similar judging the size of it. Possibly a Prism Favia too.

Torch and Frogspawn are both Euphyllia's, they shouldnt sting each other, just everything else.

I have 2 different kinds of Torch's that rub up against mushrooms on one side, and a devils hand on the other. Niether are effected by the Torchs.

i think bluephish sad he had his for a couple months before sweeper tenticles came out. i don't have any expierence with torch but im not going to argue with phishs dying frogspawn lol.
i just revert back to my quote "nothing is gauranteed in this hobby".

im not 100% sure my torch is the culprit, just read more articles saying euphyllia divisa, and ancora and assuming paradivisa, paranchora(spelling:-/) will play nice but the torch can harm all. also it can cause more harm if the tentacles of the torch can touch the base tissue, more so than if the tentacles of the torch and frogspawn would just cross paths.

i dont know for sure but im gonna move it over a lil and see how it goes.

i also noticed today my purple tip hammer had a long sweeper going out this evening. i never seen any my euphyllia send out sweepers in the year ive had them.
so they are pissed about something.

fyi they were fine touching for 4-5 months befor i noticed 3 of the heads closest to the torch started to look shoty and now are open only slightly only for half the day.the other 4 heads look fine.

just another thought, the LR is from florida i know that, and is it possible that acropora larvae settled on to my rock, i have this article about porites larvae being collected in florida and from a small single translucent polyp (at 7 wks) it took 8.5 months to have any kind of noticeable skeletal growth
(thats from the size of the thread hole in a button to the size of a button in 8 months)
with about 10 small translucent polyps still no color to them.

if it was growing from frag or left over acro or something wouldnt it start off with large polyps. the tiny size of it is what make me think it came from larvae, i should have a photo somewhere of it 8 months ago approx. and it was allot smaller the polyps only a little bigger than a period...

i def will keep updates on this one.;D
