hi George and welcome, do you have 2 tanks? i see pics of a 55g and a 90g are they both still running?
a refugium is a nice addition to your filtration. it will help exporting some nitrates out of the system. it is not an absolute must but it helps in extending the period between water changes and adds more biological filtration to your system.
if i were u i would start learning of what is the role of each equipment i have and stop adding any live stock till you learn all bout what you have and how to care for them.
i did not see any picture of the lights you have, just the moon light i suppose.

i started off with a a regular 55 gal tank then i thought it was too small so i was offered a 90gal oceanic about 3 weeks later. now present day i was offered a 120 gal oceanic and we are putting it in the first week of january. this weekend my fish guy will be putting in a refugium. just today he brought me an orange something that he put on the sand that looks like a silver dollar, with tentacles sticking up. also brought me two yellow assesor i believe, and a redtail wrasse. to answer your lighting question i have two hoods that are vented with some fat bulbs. i think 250 watt

Must be 2X 250w metal halide. Good choice. The coral atht was most recently added sounds like a fungai. It can move itself about the tank, similarly to the way an anemone does, but it is easier to care for.
