I have had this green hairy mushroom for several months now. it often shrinks to the size of a quarter at night, and expands larger than a tennis ball during the day. I have seen it take different shapes and sizes, but never this!!!!

Does anyone have an explanation on why this occurs? it has flipped itself inside out. is this to expel waste? BTW it has already righted itself, but it was rather interesting.

I spot feed once a week when I remember to. It closes up like that every time.

I just took some awesome macros last night of my purple rhodactis frilly mushroom eating. Its crazy how they bubble up. They don't require and feedings though. I'll try to remember to post some pics once I can upload the files.
