vho and pc lighting

    I have 440 watt vho and 2 96 watt pc's over my 125,i have been keeping softies with good results,i am wondering if i could try sps,and how they would do, i am getting conflicting opinions from different people tank depth 24'' any sugestions?

    I bought an 8 bulb t-5 setup from buildmyaquarium so no more doubt about lighting.

    sps would probably die in a vho tank, i had one with the same fixture any hard corals i would by wouldn't make it. i would place them mid level in my 90. i didn't know about penetration then. if they are to have a chance of making it they need to go right underneath the light.

    i would suggest t5's or halides.

    I am glad i bought the t-5 set up, a big improvement on the vho's!
