VHO retro questions

Also I was reading that URI bulbs have a built in reflector so I wouldnt need an external one. I have one 96w pc with a 50/50 bulb and want more light for some mushrooms and maybe a few softies. The tank is a 55g with a custom canopy. I was also looking for an inexpensive t5 retro that would compare to the vho set up I have found. Also will this ballast make the bulbs put out the 220w they claim? With the 2 110w vho and the 96w pc what would my coral limits be?

 

I think that set-up will be fine. Just turn it one for smaller amounts of time and slowly build it up back to your normal photo period so you don't light shock your corals.

 

Oh, and yes, that set-up will be 220w.
