    Is this normal??? I bought this darn thing because it stated it was silent and no vibration. Reviews were really good on it as well. What the heck is wrong with it?? I can hear and feel the damn thing vibrating. Is this what I get for buying a skimmer that's supposedly German, but Made in China??
    What do you guys recommend I do?

    It might help to remove the pump, disassemble and clean the impeller, then let it run in a 5 gallon bucket with vinegar for a day or two. Good luck.

    +1 /\ I had that happen to me with my 100 turned out to be a cuc snail in the impeller housing.

    Cool thanks guys, however I will be down in Florida vacationing while folks at home will monitor my still cycling tank. Gonna have to use a pair of my shooting ear plugs
