The Turtle Post Office is too slow for most mammals.

This is interesting to say the least. I dive and record HD video, after spending thousands and thousands of dollars on a housing and then needing to still purchase a video camera – the thought of losing the camera on a dive is horrendous.

Underwater video doesn’t generally have a strap (as in a loop), these tend to be larger items that simply can not be permitted to hang from a diver as they would damage reef’s. The do however have a short tether strap in case of an emergency - just not sure how it would catch on an animal since it does not loop.

I dove a ship wreck in the Caymans a few years back, bubbles were going 90 degrees to the side rather than up – the current was phenomenal. We should not have been on the dive, actually we did call it early as it was not safe. I had a death grip on my video – the film is amazing to watch…and utterly scary for fellow divers to see. I’d love to hear the full story of how he lost it – something tell’s me there is sheer stupidity involved.
