    Is that a tiger snapping shrimp? That shrimp is amazing..I want one now! Thanks for sharing.

    Forever, I only know it as a Pistol shrimp personally. I think the Tiger snapping shrimp is different slightly but don't hold me to that ;)

    It is not a tiger pistol shrimp..
    I believe it is what is called a Candy Stripe Pistol Shrimp. It is form the same family of Alpheid Shrimps as the Tiger.

    I have a Japanese Snapping Shrimp that i cant get to pair up with a goby for some reason. But my tiger readily paired with a YWG in the past...

    Also, Alfie, i have had a cleaner and a pistol in the same tank for 6 months or so... Just saying...

    Hi JP

    Yes I know a guy locally that has a pistol and cleaner together without issues, saying that he also has 3 clowns and nitrates exceeding 100 for nearly 2 years! Some people just seem to be lucky lol

    Favorite thing is that the whole time, the watchman goby is totally eyeballing you and staying between the camera and the skrimp. Keeping a Good eye out!

    yes he is great little Goby, and I guess he is just doing his job of looking out for the pistol ;)

    Very Nice Vid! Shrimp seems HUGE for a pistol shrimp.
