They are beautiful fish! I like the Blue-Girdled Angel also! Their are so many awesome Angels out there...too bad they aren't reef safe!

Blue Girdled is another name for the majestic. And these guys are suppost to be the more reef safe of the large angels. The holding tank it was in at the store had shrooms, leathers, and some polyps. It hadnt nipped athing ( Knock on Wood). Oh well, Id rather have a tank full of angels that corals, .

Keep your eyes open for polyps to dissapear! Acanthurus and Pomacanthurus Angels are not recommended for reef tanks based on my readings of Scott W. Michaels and others...but who knows you may get lucky!!! Let's hope so!

Awesome fish! I've always wanted one but dont have the space in the tank and I'm concerned it would fight with my flag fin angel.

good point!! most angels dont like each other. you can mix dwarfs with large, but you have to have a large tank to mix large angels. i just got a new pair of flames in so ill post about that later...

As long as the Angels are different species...you will probably be ok! Their are always exceptions to the rule obviously, however!
