I just want to clean my powerhead so I am not looking for a whole lot and I have a huge unopened bottle of the grape home right now so I am just wondering if I can use that.

Well I'd leave that unopened and hit the store ;) I can't think of a reason why it would be bad, but why take the chance I guess.

Not really. You can only get balsamic, malt and distilled malt vinegar in UK. I've not heard of grape vinegar. I know that vinegar is the oxidation of ethanol by acetic acid bacteria, I'm assuming grape vinegar is vinegar made from wine??
But still not entirely sure as have not seen it for sale in the UK and have never heard of it...

Well here in the U.S. we have an isle in the supermarket dedicated to vinegar. You can get vinegar from just about any fruit.

It'll work. all you need is the low pH and it should still have that.
