Viper HQI base?

    Hey all.

    So I recently drilled my 29g with the overflow in the back center of the tank without completley thinking it through. I had planned on getting a JBJ Viper HQI clamp lamp for the lighting of the tank, which would also be clamped on the back center of the tank. You can see where I may have a problem here. :-/

    My question: What is the length of the base on the Viper? If its ~4in, then I can still make it work, but if it's longer then I'm hosed. If anyone has this lamp, I would really appreciate the info. If it's not going to work, does anyone have any suggestions on how I can light the tank using a resonably priced MH, but without building a canopy?
