After 18 months of being dry, I finally got the chance to go out for two reef dives, one on a disused oil rig and the other a normal reef. It is incredible to see the normal size of our fish in their natural environment. I saw two puffer fish, at least 2ft in length, copperbands 8-10 inches, seahorses, slugs, jacks, nudibranch, huge sea fans. I saw BTAs like mine, only they were 3-4ft in diameter.

My favourite was a family of clowns in an anemone, the female was large, the male half the size and a bunch of small fry. When I approached the anemone, they all started the territorial side on twitching at me, even the kids, all in unison It's great too see them in there hometown.

Next trip out I will remember to take the camera
