    Well I guess they are. It was the only vodka I had at the time. From what I can tell it seems to be working g.

    So I have been dosing for about week and a half. I have undelievalbe clear water and my nitrates are pretty much the same about 20ppm and phoshates are almost untraceable. I have seen an increase in my monti growth and a richer color throughout the tank.

    20ppm is still kind of high, but I guess it's not critical. On top of the VSV dosing I stopped using frozen food and just grow my own phytoplankton and rotifers to feed my tank. My NO3 reads 0, but I'm sure I have some due to GHA pops out here and there sometimes, but bacteria makes it invisible for tests.

    P.S. I buy only cheapest vodka for VSV mix so that way I will not drink it :)
