Sample quantities of the new GrassyLeDio 9W LED spotlight from Volx are now being shipped to our lucky friends in Japan. If you ever cruise the Japanese sites like this geek, you will surely have stumbled on the predecessor - the LeDio 7W Led spotlight. The LeDio spotlights have incredible light output (PAR,LUX) for such low watts and are extremely popular as keeping even SPS corals appear to be possible and the LED spectrum is reported to be very nice.

Someday maybe a USA distributor will pick these LeDio LED spotlights up as USA nano fans would go nuts for these. Until that day, if you get the fever for LED spots, the only thing remotely like these for aquariums here are the 21w PAR38s at nanocustoms.com.

Could any of you 3reef sponsors or members who operate LFS's try to get some of these?? If so, you've got your first order going to my house. These at 6500k would be solid fuge lights....

Not if it uses 9 watts and lasts 50,000 hours.
