vortech mp10 or mp40

    I am going to purchase a vortech wireless, which one would be recommend for a 36 gal bow front mp10 or mp40?

    ok so i have a mp10 on my 40 gallon right now my question to you is

    what kind of corals?
    do you want to make a wave or are you going to use another mode like reef crest?

    I really dont know much about it i would like to have a mixture of corals ,fish and a clam.

    I think if you can afford the MP40 id pick that one. You can always tone down the MP40 if there is too much flow..

    I can't believe how much they are. Are they just that expensive for the name or are they worth it?

    the mp 10 makes about a 1inch wave in my tank which isnt really big but in reef crest mode its is perfect for my mix of sps and lps

    if you thing you are going to ever upgrade i would do a mp40 and turn it down but if the price is to high the mp10 will be fine for your tank

    Cool ty mp40 is high I would rather spend that on leds lol.

    Not sure i have not read about them to much , but i have a few months of these t5s so I got some time to save lol . I would like a plug n play one lol also any brand of heater good think mine just crapped out. FYI i just put live rock in yesterday and going to pick up a green chromis on Fri.

    X vortex are great pumps but if haven't bought on yet I would check out the Tunze Turbelle. Go to there website and check out their videos on the pumps. They put their pumps to the test against their competitor. They don't tell you that the competitor is vortex but you can see that they are. Any way their show that their Turbelle line blows vortex out of the water.

    I was looking at vortex as well when I came across Tunze at BRS website. They are also a little pricey but not as bad as vortex. Check it out and decide for yourself.
