So I bit the bullet and bought an mp10 for my 55. Right now I'm running that with a evo750 at the other end. My ? Is what setting should I run it on that gets best overall movement? I don't have many corals right now but I don't have much luck with sps so it will b mostly lps and softies. Eventually I want to get another one and sync them but idk if I can with this one it says mp10w ecosmart driver. Is that connectible? I do have to say tho this little pump packs a punch creating a nice wave in my tank which is way cool and seeing as how I was going to get 4 evo750s- $120 and a wavemaster pro- $170+tax it was cheaper to get the mp10.

also there is a little more noise from this then my evos, does this eventually go away or am I stuck with that? I've read that once it breaks in it does go away a little. Is this true?

    It does get quieter.

When i had one MP10 on my 55, i was running Reef Crest mode most of the time.

With two I used auto-tune to create a gentle wave and been running that most of the time. Just love the way GSPs sway back and forth in that mode.

I tried the EcoSmart Tidal Sweel and Nutrient Transport Modes. The latter was better of the two. But neither gave me as good of visual current effect on corals as auto-tune wave.
