I cant seem to figure out how to make an actual big wave on the vortech. Im vcreating some very small almost not noticable waves. Also how do I reset the vortech memory?
    Thanks!

This is a much better guide to them than the one in the box.
You won't get a wave like the videos because you have rocks and sand and it's really just for show. All you will see is the sides moving up and down in larger tanks. It's really better to watch the corals movement over the water movement IME.

Section 4.3 lays out how to auto-tune a wave in your tank.

I know im not looking to make a huge wave just a swaying motion of coral. Could you do that on the vortech without making a wave?

Absolutely. Use the auto-tune feature and watch your tank till you get the movement you are looking for then store it. After you store your auto-tune it will automatically be saved in the short pulse and NTM modes.

I tried this saving feature before and im a little confused. How do you completely change the setting you have on the short pulse?

After setting the wave it saves automatically. Just switch back to short pulse or to NTM and it will use that wave setting until you adjust it to something else. So you don't actually have to do anything after setting your wave.

If you want, you can completely clear your memory to make sure the new wave sets in.. But you shouldn't need to do that.

Hehe. I guess I should have asked if he had an older model! I figured if you he is just now setting up a wave, it's a new toy!
