I just got a mp10 for my 14 gal biocube. I was wondering if i should place it on the left side or right side of my tank? I have a rotating hydor flo nozzle on my return (left side of tank).

This is a picture of my tank, for a reference.
Where would you place it? I have some sps on the upper - back part of my rockwork.

i dont think that it really matters what side you put it on. and i dont know it that other power head you have is built in but i have an mp10 in a 55 turned all the way up and get decent flow through most of my tank. you could place that anywhere in there and probably about 20% and have great flow without even using the one you have now.

well i have a 27 cube and ive found that the cubes can be harder to find the sweet spot. Whats worked for me first was on the side about 6 inches down from the surface. (doesnt matter which side)

I have also put it on the back wall about 6 inches from the surface.
