VorTech Pumps

How many of you have a VorTech pump?

I have been contacted by VorTech for a possible photo contest, the only catch is any picture submitted would have to include a VorTech pump.

Just wanna find out how many of you have a VorTech pump or don't. Thanks

By the way, my mp40w just started falling off the wall, for no reason I can figure out.

 

I have an MP40 on my 30g right now, dialed down all the way. Just until I get my 75g setup where I'll have 2.

 

2 on a 75. Are you attempting to recreate the perfect storm?

good to know. Now for my second question, would any of you with a pump already really want to win another pump?

 

Yes, I would like another MP40W for my 58. One is ok, 2 would be better. I could turn them down and run them in anti synch, get a better wave.

 

o yea forgot to put in my first post that they only offered a MP20.

 

I have 3 MP40W’s in my 180, would I want another…hell yea ! There are no better pumps out there in my opinion. When you look in my tank all you see is reef no obnoxious pumps hanging up top. Just two corner overflows and the returns. Yet inside my tank it’s a typhoon of current.

As for the post of the pump falling off – clean the wet side and you should be good to go. If you pull it from the tank there is a visible screw in the center. Remove the screw and rinse the assembly and all will be good in the world. I had to do that to one of mine after about 1.5 years of running.
