Vote my Mantis Home

I vote for G. smithii. I have a G. ternatensis and they really aren't too active. They look cool, but I think I would rather have something that cruises around the tank every now and then.

 

where do you even get mantis these days other than the live aquaria peacock?

 

Yeah I remember you telling me this in your thread. The O Havanesis is supposed to be pretty active/interactive and violent. The latter being the trait that put it on my list of possibilities. But still the orange spots are crazy beautiful imo.

 

I'd tell you but that would be one more possible person I'd have to compete with for purchase. LOL JJ But it has been tough. Everytime I find one I like it's sold already. I lost a 30 dollar deposit when I broke the first tank and had to basically start over.
bluezooaquatics.com has a pretty good regular selection and you can also google mantis shrimp for sale to find others.
