The last two are of a new improved mod, the first one was a failure, that I put together for my Remoara with a maxi-jet 1200. Its a simple 90degree elbow and a T fitting. This things is compact and skims the waters surface perfectly!;D

Soon after I finished cycling, I changed my rock layout. I added a few caves and hang overs. Also I added a new addition to the tank last week, a Royal Gamma. Him the Ocelaris are buddies. I think hes an awesome looking fish with vibrant colors. This past week began the introduction of brown diatoms and cant wait for it to burn out. I also checked the parameters and they read as followed:
    Ammonia: 0
    Nitrate: 5ppm
    Nitrite: 0ppm
    PH: 8.2

    Heres a few Pics:

Ive been storing my Ro/Di water in a 32 Gallon Plastic trash bucket. I dont recall if it was food grade but, do you think i could be loading it with silicates?

Soo I changed things up a bit, like the rock work again, and added a Closed Loop with a Mag 5... I also added a new addition to the tank, a Skunk Cleaner Shrimp... Sadly my basset doesn't like him and my clown is oblivious to him :-/... here some pics:

I also added a 2lb Coraline encrusted rock to help "Purp" up the tank... I scraped it about a week ago, and yet to see any new spots... Patience is a virtue!
