YAY - been waiting for several months to get enough pods for a manderin, so wife was gonna stop by lfs about an hour away while she was up that way and pick up one for the 55 while getting black worms for our discus - while she was up there she called and said they had a pretty peacock mantis in stock... been waiting for 3 weeks for someone local to get one, his tank has all been setup and just waiting!!

YAY!! - will try to get some pics up later tonite of them both -

Your wife goes to fish store for you? Nice....!
I am always telling my wife I am not at the fish store. Feels like I am cheating on my wife with the fish store sometime!

haha - yeah she had to meet her mom to let our daughter spend the night with her so I was like...hey - do you mind....

They are both WAYYYYYYY kick butt... no pics tonite though, the mantis (yet unnamed by my son) is resting in his rocks right now, they just got him in yesterday so three tanks in three days i am sure he is wiery.....

The manderin is beautiful, lots of copper colored bans, so far he is chillin under a ledge, the other fish havent bugged him at all.

This is so cool..... the downside is my wife shows me what she wants for xmas lol - a tiny lil very expensive pomerianian lol -

Will get pics posted tommorrow of both new family members :)

 I love it - I do the same thing with my husband. He especially worries if Jwin and I leave the house together! He usually just rolls his eyes.....

Just remember - SHE will always win! She may let you think you won. I can't wait to see the pomeranian pictures! Oh, and the mantis and mandarin....

no pics today, moms in town from 500 miles away and long day making bbq lol....

The manderin is extremely shy - the way he hovers is amazing, ive seen him grazing the rocks so looks like he is gonna be happy....

The mantis (Still unnamed) is probably the single wildest critter ive ever seen, you can see the intelligence it has, I forgot to stop and get some shrimp so I grabbed 4 stomas out of my main display sump and dropped in his den and he chowed on them right away - it has been moving sand all day, all the live rock is coated with a layer of it, it made a den but the rocks were unstable so I took some out and broke them into smaller pieces for it to redo, its already been rebuilding it lol - amazing creature.

Will get some pics tommorrow for sure.
