Thats what i was thinking. Just not long enough and then id have to move everything. Im doing A bunch of electrical and plumbing as well as building a concrete footing to use as a stand for the tank. when i move in. This is the third time ive seen a deal like this come up to me, Like 5 months ago someone else was selling their 180 gallon for 300 bucks.

Resist the urge. either that or stop looking for the deals! lol they will always find you! i know the feeling, there was a guy locally selling a 72 bow for 50 bux. Drilled too! Some ppl have a change in life and need to get rid of stuff yesterday, and they always leads to steals.

I almost got that 72 just to have in case i knew someone looking to get in the hobby, and make some $ cuz that tank is worth 300 all day. Who ever got it, got an amazing deal.

I myself know a guy selling a 150 gallon for 50 bux. My uncle is more than likely going to get it, but when he told me that yesterday i was like damn... that is a great deal. (i dont know the condition of the tank but the glass alone on that is more than 50 bux.)

the tank can be a deal. But then to get proper lights, rock sand. Its quite expensive. I throuwn several grand into my 30 gallon and plan on doing the big tank right. Was ghonna use 4 50 gallon brute force garbage cans as a sump for the dream tank. Its a 540 gallon tank so i would probably use many brute forces instead of a glass aquarium.

Exactly, reason why i say save now lol. Instead of trash cans, look into getting a bin or trough something similar. I cant remember the user on here who did one, but its nothing fancy and it looks like itll get the job done. ill look for it and post the link..

I hear you guys on how hard it is to resist deals. I'm only 6 months into setting up my 90 gal and recently found a guy selling a 285 gal pre drilled tank with a beautiful stand and canopy and he was throwing in the lighting system and a bunch of other stuff too...he only wanted $700 for the whole package and the tank was only used for like 1 month, basically brand spanking new.

If I'd have had the money, I would have bought it in a heart beat, but with a baby on the way and some house renovations that need attention I just couldn't reason myself into buying it.
