    bah - forgot pictures today.

Yes, it's the biggest tank I've actually started to set up. I had a 300 something that was given to me but it was left outside and filled with rain water then froze and broke out all 4 sides, so I never got to set it up, but that was back in my FW days anyways.

    I'm getting antsy.

I bet your antsy, that is a lot of saltwater. Have you picked out a light?

I've got a Maristar 72" fixture w/ built in T5 ballasts and 3 Lumatek Select-a-watt ballasts. the fixture is 4x 39w T5 + 3x 250w DE HQI. Have not decided on bulbs. probably a mixture of 454's and Super Actinics on the T5 and XM 10,000ºK on the HQI. It's not a LOT of light, but I think if I need to eventually, and with some fancy metal work, I can easy upgrade the fixture to 400W SE MH's and overdrive the T5's. I'll use the spare parts for my smaller tank. The Select-A-Watt ballasts are cool, will power anything from a 175 to a 400 watt bulb, with an optional 20% overdrive at 400 watts (shortens bulb life)

It's going to be a mixed reef. Corals: I'm thinking mostly SPS and light loving LPS, and a very few softies - probably just Zoas, maybe some ricordia - NO XENIA or GSP in this one. No way.

Fish: Lots of ideas... not much certain, but what I do have planned so far:

    Maroon clown pair.
    Falco hawk
    Minatus Grouper
    Curious wormfish

Considering: (some, all, none, any mixture thereof)
    Snowflake or Zebra eel.
Clown, Achilles, scopas, or Kole tang(s)
    Sea moth
    Filefish
    Engineer goby
    scooter dragonette
    curious wormfish
Some kind of Wrass - Lunaris or Harlequin probably.
    Frogfish / Angler

    Not on the list:
    Sharks/rays
Never reef compatible angels, butterflys, triggers, puffers, etc.
    scorpion / lion fish
    Morish Idol
    Shrimp / crabs / lobsters

Otherwise, I'll probably run more LR in the sump than one normally would, and leave the tank a bit more open than a lot of reefs I've seen. It's easier (and cheaper) to add rock if I want more than to take out rock from an established tank.

Anyways... this makes me want to start my build thread... off to do that!
