I got my first aquarium 2 weeks ago. Non-saltwater so I could learn the basics. 37 gallon with 4 mollies 1 platy. Lost 2 from ich. Figured out they school better so, after cleaning everything up and medicating for a week or two, I'll add a partner for each surviving type.

This is all good knowledge, planning ahead for my 250-gallon saltwater, complete with anemones.

    Wish me luck.

If possible, don't dose copper in your tank. Sometime in the future you may want to convert your freshwater tank to a saltwater one, and copper will kill invertebrates.

Welcome to 3reef. Do as much research as possible before you setup your saltwater tank.
