This guy hitched a ride in my Xenia coral. It never leaves the coral and is well hidden. He only rears his ghostly head when I feed Mysis shrimp to his tank mates. In fact, he is so timid, I have to feed him his shrimp by hand with a tweezer. I think I'll call him Johnny Winter. Check out my Mr. Crabs album for more pics (better than this one)

I'm not sure its a Mithrix Crab - I am open for any help with its ID. It looks just like a mithrix - same size, etc. It is PURE WHITE! And always stays in the same Xenia - even at night when the lights are off. Really strange!

I have better pics of the "albino crab pics" in my album - they are worth checking out.

I gave them a looking at, I don't think it's a mithrax. You say it was a hitchhiker? Was the xenia a wild collected one, or from a frag/propigated? I'm trying to narrow down the location the crab came from, it'll greatly help in my ID of it. Regardless what it is, it's damn cool.

Thanks Gresham for ataking a look at it. I bought the Xenia from a LFS. I don't know what the origin of the coral is. I will give them a call and let you know. Yeah the crab is cool - I just can't believe that it stays well hidden inside the Xenia ALL THE TIME - it never leaves it!
I appreciate your efforts in helping me ID it.
