So i really like the look of macro algae in display tanks. I understand that some can go sexual and reproduce like crazy choking out corals, however there are others that can be maintained. I would like to stay away from chaeto however (in my exp it gets everywhere). Any recommendations for some macros to add some color and diversity to a display tank?

Saltwater Aquarium Algae for Marine Reef Aquariums: Maiden's Hair Plant

    Kelp on Rock, Smooth Leaf

i have both of these above and really like how they look. the maiden hair grass is so soft looking with a bright green color. and the kelps color is awesome. i have had them both a while now and they are doing really well. i purchased other macro algae's but the hermits and snails ate them i guess, codium, flamingo feather, red gracilaria, and another red one i cant remember the name of those algae slowly got picked apart and cant be found. the the fern caulerpa i pulled and threw in the sump/fug because it looked like it would become a problem with the vine habit.

Love our halymenia (dragon's breath), but can't keep it in the DT because the turbos love it. So, it stays in the fuge where we can't see it LOL.
