I'm keeping my tank vibrant and growing with PC's. Granted it's only a 29g, but don't be fooled into the new wave attitude of needing wattage that would rival the sun. It's all about placement, IMO

zoas gsp or maybe some xenias will do fine, try to place them towards the top of the tank...

zoas and gsp are point and shoot corals... they will always look better and grow faster under brighter light but what you have they'll do fine.

soft corals aren't rocket science, in fact they are easier to take care of than fish. they tolerate unstable water pretty well, pretty hard to kill to be honest.

yeah and watts per gallon is really irrelevant... its about how bright the light is as it hits the coral... if you want tank full of coral from top to bottom then yeah it matters, but if you just are getting started make sure they are at the top of the tank an you'll be fine.
