    I've wanted to do an angler as well. Problem is it will eat any fish or shrimp/crab it can fit in it's rather large mouth. (Eats things almost as big as the angler is, some litterature says even bigger sometimes). In a 30 gallon tank you couldn't house other fish big enough not to be eaten without over crowding.
