My new Echinophyllia "Lava" Chalice. There are some called molten rock that are more black that resemble lava that has cooled a little more.. this one is more red resembling a lava flow.
The first pic is with moon lights only and a black light. The next photos are in complete darkness with a black light. I'm thinking about mounting the light permanently for use with actinics for a crazy amount of glow.
The Kryponite and Wellso brain are much greener in person than the whiteish look in the photo. .. still cool though.

Actually they're not that expensive.. This one was expensive but it's huge. He had some smaller ones maybe 4X4 inches for $69. Bought at a LFS. I would say a frag would be in the $30 range.

Thank... I was surprised the fungia didn't glow more. I think the black light is rather week and can't penetrate the water all the way to the bottom.. I've got some green zoas that really glowed too.

    Neat pics Av8.

Do black lights do anything for the coral? Or do they ignore it the way they ignore moonlights?
