Please excuse the local idiot. I think everybody has them. I believe that could be a really sweet tank! But, your going to have to add some water volume to it. The aquarium by volume alone is far to small to control water parameters. What type of filtration do you have? You might be able to incorporate a sump.

 

agreed adding even a 5-10 gallon sump would allow for a lot of things more water=less work

Please, feel free to private message me or continue this thread and I/we will assist you in your adventure into the reef. Yes your tank is small. But so cool. Good move on the macro algae and live rock. We might want to look at 1 or 2 more very small pieces of live rock for your tank. Dont think about any fish at this point. We will look at this later.
