I have been washing the filter socks for my 90g in the washer like many do, I add a little bleach and wash on a hot cycle. Before the sock goes in the tank it gets rinsed in RO water (after it has dried from the wash). The problem is the socks are picking up residue soap in the washer and every time they go into the tank I have massive amounts of micro bubbles and the skimmer goes insane for days so I dont change them often. I am wondering if there are any suggestions to combat the soap residue or just wash them in a bucket with hot water and a little bleach? Im debating washing in peroxide instead its just pricy to wash the extra large socks in peroxide.

Yes I would just use a bucket of warm water with a little bleach. Let them soak for a while you can wring them out a few times while soaking. Rinse them well and allow them to dry. I usually then add some dechlorinator to a bucket of water and soak them one more time(you don't have to but it is a good safety precaution) to make sure all the bleach is gone.;)
