We have a pair. I love them. Their mouths are pretty small so many fish can go in with them. The females are smaller than the males. In the morning when I get to a computer I can tell which it is if its not too young.

Here is a link of some fish I keep with mine, but many fish will work.

    What kind of goby?

I have a scarlet hermit in a couple of tanks. I'm not too fussy with them with bottom dwellers, which a rubripinnis is. The hermits can crawl over them and interfere with feeding. If you add one, make sure it's after the Red Fin is established. I have a variety of snails. Is there anything special you had in mind for a CUC besides that?

The one on DD is a female. You'll have to get super small ghosties to train her because she's going to come in smaller than she looks (and is listed as).

I don't know anything about clown gobies. Aren't they on the smaller side as far as even small fish go? Maybe aim just a little bigger if they are indeed smaller fish. Clownfish would be fine if you like them as most people do. I've never owned one though, but a sub to mature adult won't get eaten by a waspfish. I've seen some dinky sized ones at the LFS, stay away from those.

He won't eat your CUC. He'll eat any shrimp he can grab, but they're not really a part of a standard CUC.

    She wouldn't eat large ones.

I would not do the clown goby.

Am I missing the notation on their site that this fish is venomous? I just emailed them if that's the case. You know this fish can pack a sting worse than a lion or scorpion fish, right? Just making sure, especially where the scientific name they are using is older and may not produce too many search hits.
