    HAHA that's funny I never even saw that post!!! Naw sry guys Im not talking about saltwater Im talkin about the waste water from my RODI system sry I thought I said that at the start up :D

    Sorry, it was never stated what type of water so I just assumed you were talking about the water from water changes. You know what they say when you assume something lol

    I've been using it to fill a hot tub. It doesn't change the params.

    I wouldn't. The TDS in the RO waste is 20 to 25% higher than your tap water was to begin with so not really suitable for anything in the reef system.

    Thanks for your input rat, yeah I figured as much I just feel bad for dumping gallon upon gallon down the drain... Oh well

    It gets recharged into the aquifer or treated and reused in most cases so its not really wasted. We are using the same water that was on Earth a million years ago, it gets recycled and used over and over.
