I just tested my waste water and its 120 tds. I guess its not really acceptable. But what about a 50/50 mix? which would be 60tds.

If you use the waste water in your tank, you're literally defeating the entire point of using RODI. All the crud you just spent a good amount of money to pull out of the clean water is just going to get put back in your tank. Acceptable TDS for RODI water is 0. 1 TDS is too high and means you need to do maintenance on your RODI unit.

If you want to use the waste water for something else instead of letting it go to waste, the garden is a really good place to put it. Others may have different ideas.

I think anything TDS 10 and under is use-able, anything over that would be defeating the purpose of the unit, as someone mentioned above.

I have my waste line running down the washing machine drain line, so its a pain to get out and put back.

Works good to fill the washing machine. I put mine in a trashcan and then pumped it through an automatic watering system for all of my bonsai trees. The Iron that would have gone into my tank for algae growth, instead was a fertilizer for my trees.
